LEMONGRASS AND GINGER ICED TEA

Lemongrass and Ginger Iced Tea

Makes 4 drinks

  • 6 teaspoons of lemongrass tea
  • 1 large piece of ginger, sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup sugar, or stevia
  • 2 cups brewed black tea
  1. Brew the lemongrass tea with sliced ginger for 5 minutes in 4 cups of water. Stir in sugar. Let liquid sit in the pot, covered, for another 20 minutes. Strain lemongrass-ginger syrup.
  2. In glasses, stir together one-half lemongrass-ginger syrup with one-half brewed tea. Add ice and serve.
